Performance Rights Take the Spotlight in The Atlantic

Atlantic Monthly business writer Daniel Indiviglio offers some compelling arguments for why big radio should start treating musicians fairly, confirming what we already know to be true: "...after doing some digging, I'm pretty confident that my beloved radio stations would be just fine if the legislation passes."
The story goes on to destroy the myth that the performance rights act would unfairly target small radio companies, and draws attention to the incessant anti-musician ad campaign that Big Radio has been running for months. "Ironically," [since, unlike radio, internet broadcasters HONOR performance rights] "I was listening to the broadcast channel through the Internet when I heard the anti-performance fee commercial!"
